I use the router to create a network and then connect both the Pixii and the iPad to it; the WiFi connection isn't any more reliable than the one on my home network, but at least it isn't any LESS reliable! With this setup the iPad can still use its cellular modem to connect to the nätet, so inom can still post etc.
